This shoe is very well made. The negative heel really helps with posture and relieving pressure from the heel. I feel less muscle fatigue in my legs when I wear these.

I need the Kalso negative heel so I purchased two pair of Magic because they looked like Melisa II which I wore in the past. After 6 months the glue that holds the straps to the body of the shoe dissolved and the fit is very sloppy. I have to be careful when wearing these sandals now for fear of losing my balance if my foot slips within the footbed. Whoever is running this company now tossed quality out the door in favor of cuteness. They are sitting on a true gold mine if they would only realize how many women need the negative heel technology for health sake but also need sensible supportive shoes.

I agree....what happened? I'm 70, and I've worn these since the beginning. Why? The lack of selection is horrible. My husband used to wear them too.
Great fitting shoe! Absolutely one of the most comfy shoes I've ever worn. And I have a wide foot, with bunions. The shoes also hide the bunions! I give them an A+, seriously!

I want to know why you discontinued the
Melissa II design. I bought mine in July 2008. If I'd known it was going to be discontinued, I would have bought a lifetime supply, because it was comfortable, well-made, rather flattering to the foot, and unmatched by any other shoe, since. I've read many Earthshoe reviews that refer to the Melissa II in similar nostalgic tones. Your customers LOVE the Melissa II. You should listen to your customers. Make us happy.

Thank you for your feedback it will be passed along to our design team.
Are the Earth Magic sandals latex free?
Many of our shoes use latex (or a blend containing latex) in the outsole. The insole or lining of our shoes do not. I hope this information helps.
i currently wear zero shoes and love them. what are negative and what is the benefit?
The most defining feature of Earth® Footwear is a slight 3.7° incline – a unique design that positions the toes 3.7º higher than the heels. The natural angle re-distributes body weight – strengthening, toning, and engaging muscles throughout the body. To complement the 3.7° incline, all Earth footwear features reinforced support through the arch. The arch support maximizes the effectiveness of the heel design in promoting a very natural walking motion.
